Vocal empowerment coach, Dot Todman, has created the leading-edge self-empowering Core Vocal Power™ system that can teach anyone to sing! After graduating with a Teaching Certificate and a triple degree in Theatre, Psychology and Music, Todman went on to win many competitions and perform at venues throughout North America.  Initially influenced by celebrity coaches such as Arthur Joseph (Quincy Jones, Jack Canfield), and Seth Riggs (Prince, Michael Jackson, Barbara Streisand), Todman honed her own mastery technique that has made her a sought after sage. Shows such as "Idol Chat," on the TV Guide Network look to her for valuable advice for the American Idol contestants.

It wasn’t until Todman healed herself after a life threatening accident in September of 2007, that her mind-soul-body approach to singing allowed her to reach her students on a much deeper level of compassion, intuition and awareness. Todman recalls: “In order for me to function again, I had to learn how to rebuild my body fast! That meant gaining mastery over my limiting beliefs, choosing how I wanted to feel and trusting that my body would do what I wanted it to. Then it dawned on me – real empowered singers have to do the exact same thing – not just vocal exercises!”

Despite her severe physical challenges during that time, Todman felt inspired to further develop her Core Vocal Power™ System and held well-attended Vocal Empowerment Workshops and Showcases at The Gibson Music Showroom in Beverly Hills, CA.  She also created www.dotsvoicestudios.com, a one-of-a-kind website, covering far more information and inspiration than a regular vocal coach’s website. This unique, interactive website with membership benefits, is equipped with over 50 pages of free vocal advice, training videos, mp3s and downloadable products, such as her unique, Practicing with C.O.R.E.
